[vclip] The Fray – Happiness
This evening I browsed The Fray’s song lyrics in their latest self titled album, The Fray. The album itself released months ago in earlier 2009, while their first single in this album, You Found Me, released in 2008. And this Happiness song soon became my newest favourite song. Despite the fact that the rhytm of the song is so not me, but the lyric is well enough to describe me. No… it’s not a happy full energetic song. It’s a sorrowful song that made me grinned everytime I sing this song. A very hurtful grin haha
Anyway, this song is the original soundtrack of Private Practice Season 2 Episode 18. Remember the Hollywood TV Series that I told you in here? It’s now available on 2nd season. Just find it on your nearest DVD Store *grin*
THE FRAY
“Happiness”
Happiness is just outside my window | Thought it crash blowing 80-miles an hour? | Or is happiness a little more like knocking | On your door, and you just let it in?
Happiness feels a lot like sorrow | Let it be, you can’t make it come or go | But you are gone- not for good but for now | Gone for now feels a lot like gone for good
Happiness is a firecracker sitting on my headboard | Happiness was never mine to hold | Careful child, light the fuse and go away | ‘Cause happiness throws a shower of sparks
Happiness damn near destroys you | Breaks your faith to pieces on the floor | So you tell yourself, that’s enough for now | Happiness has a violent roar
Happiness is like the old man told me | Look for it, but you’ll never find it all | Let it go, live your life and leave it | Then one day, wake up and she’ll be home | Home, home, home
Happiness was really never mine to hold.. I’m still in the action of finding it
